David Selby appeared as Beauregard in the Jerry Herman musical Mame presented by the Cabrillo Music Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza's Fred Kavli Theatre in Thousand Oaks, California on November 1-10. The title role was played by Amanda McBroom, who is perhaps best known for penning "The Rose," which was recorded by Bette Midler for the film of the same name and later became a country hit for Conway Twitty.
