David Selby has appeared with Ellen Burstyn and Rick Stear in two productions of Long Day's Journey into Night under the direction of Michael Wilson, first at the Alley Theatre in Houston and again at Hartford Stage in Connecticut. David played the role of James Tyrone opposite Ellen Burstyn as Mary Tyrone.

Andrew McCarthy was part of the Hartford Stage production, playing the role of Jamie Tyrone.

For those interested in reading the play, Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night may be purchased online.

The Alley Theatre production ran from February to March 1998.
