On May 27, 2003, while serving as an Artist-in-Residence at West Virginia State College, David appeared on WVSC's weekly half-hour community affairs program, State Today. WVSC President Hazo Carter hosts the program, which airs on KCS-TV on Charleston's Charter Communications Cable Channel 11.
