On Saturday, David took the stage to read selections from his new poetry book, Happenstance, as well as a few of his earlier poems. (See the Books section of the site for more information.)

David also took questions from the audience. At one point, a young girl approached the microphone to comment on David's portrayal of Quentin. David thought what she said was so sweet that he had her to come up so he could give her a kiss. Once she got on stage, David asked her if her mother watched Dark Shadows, and she replied that she watched "when she was a little girl." This comment led to a burst of laughter from both David and the audience.
