In October 2002, David Selby appeared on the DIY Network's DIY Halloween series. In this "Halloween Party" episode, David appears with host Michael Kennedy in a segment dealing with scary storytelling. They begin by discussing techniques for telling a scary story and then David illustrates by telling a scary story to Michael Kennedy and a young girl.
